Nutritional Guidance

BalancED MK is able to provide personal one to one support and advice about nutrition, sensitive to the challenges faced by people affected by an eating disorder.

Please take note of the BalancED MK referral criteria before making contact with BalancED MK to arrange an initial one to one meeting with Emma Bacon. Sessions are charged on a sessional basis.

Please note that Emma is not a qualified dietician, but she has completed nutrition qualifications and is the author of ‘Rebalance Your Relationship with Food: Reassuring Recipes and Nutritional Advice for Positive, Confident Eating’ – a recipe book specifically designed to support recovery for disordered eating and body image issues (endorsed by Professor Janet Treasure and Julia Buckroyd). Sessions are based on an individual’s needs, which may include general advice about nutrition, eating plan suggestions, and cooking support and guidance.
